2025 Fundamentals Accelerator

Democratizing Philanthropy Project’s Fundamentals Accelerator is a two-part skill building and group learning cohort rooted in connection, shared values, and cutting edge strategies. Since 2021, DPP has been refining this signature program offering to meet the moment and drive results. Tailored for mid-sized nonprofits with an existing digital presence, the cohort focuses on practical training in list building, digital fundraising, and using data and narrative strategy to create sustainable growth in supporters and donors.

Key Components:

• Interactive Workshops: Bi-weekly workshops led by experts in the field to build hard skills while in community with 10-12 other progressive nonprofits

• Testing and Experimentation: Real-time experimentation with subject lines, email content, and digital ads to identify what resonates with their audience.

• One-on-One Support: Personalized coaching to help participants apply learnings directly to their organizational context.

• Peer Learning: Opportunities to collaborate, share insights, and problem-solve with other organizations in the cohort.

• Funding: Participating organizations are given investment grants to help them build and grow their supporter base. 

• Membership in DPP’s Alumni Network: Includes invitations to networking events, pop-up workshops, and ongoing skill building opportunities.
